THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRADITION AND NATIONAL IDENTITY IN TURKISH STATES

Abstract

This study conducted in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkiye, to explore people’s views on cultural values and social and cultural practices in Turkic states. The research finds that it is very important for Turkic states to adhere to traditions and customs within the family or in society. Furthermore, many survey participants from all countries believe that their countries should preserve their own way of life and culture, not try to imitate other nations.
